Whatever happened between morning meetings and the start time to practice, we may never know, but it got Newsome cut.
In football, the team has to be working on the same page or there will be chaos. Just take a look at the secondary on Saturday night. A few players missed assignments, not pulling together and chaos at times led to Bomber touchdowns.
If Jonathan Newsome wasn't in line with what was being asked by the head coach and defensive coordinator, what is the point of keeping him around?
And with only two sacks in 20 games, that is just not good enough to be a pain in the bosses side.
While Chris Jones is getting some heat for the move, I think those criticizing would probably do what their boss tells them to do.
