I hate calling a game in week 3 a must win, but when you look at what is coming up for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, they better start winning tomorrow against Hamilton.
Up next is a bye week and then a road game against Calgary. Then another nearly must win home game against Toronto before five straight games against the West Division.
The games will not get easier and judging by the Hamilton Tiger Cats first game of the season, the Riders better beat this team at home or there should be major concern. Again.
Losing two opportunities already this season doesn't have the Riders backs against the wall yet — let's not be silly.
But they are getting pushed backwards.
The bigger games, of course, are ahead, however.
Because as long as they can't beat the other teams in the division, the Riders will stay in last place in the division, making it impossible to make the playoffs.
But wins against the weaker East Division teams are must win games, because losing them is losing them even more ground in the West.
