When the Saskatchewan Roughriders hired Chris Jones they gave him a three-year deal.
Jones was in Toronto for Grey Cup week and here's hoping he paid attention to the Ottawa Redblacks, who executed a near flawless three-year plan.
They invested in a veteran, proven winner in Henry Burris. They built their team around Canadians – they had 10 Canadians starting in the Grey Cup game. Ten. Chris Jones got fined for not playing the required seven earlier this year.
